Disabled Placards
Changes to regarding Disabled Placards take effect Monday, September 17. You will need a new application signed by your doctor effective on this date. You can download the new form here on our website or contact our office for one.
We have received many calls and emails regarding vehicle renewal notices being mailed out earlier than usual. The reason this is happening is due to legislative changes to KRS 131.110 mandating the notices be sent out 60 days in advance versus the previous 45 days in advance. There have been no other changes to the renewal process. Hope this helps explain this new process. If you should have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our office at 502-477-3215.
